Orange Corners Nigeria, launched in 2019 by the Kingdom of the Netherlands and implemented by FATE Foundation, invites young entrepreneurs to join Cohort 14 of its flagship 6-month incubation programme in Lagos. Designed for individuals aged 18–35, the programme empowers participants to transform innovative ideas into sustainable, thriving businesses while contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Since its inception, the programme has successfully incubated over 240 businesses across 13 cohorts, supporting entrepreneurs in Lagos and Ogun State with training, mentorship, funding, and access to professional networks. Programme Overview The Orange Corners Nigeria Incubation Programme provides a structured pathway for young innovators to develop entrepreneurial skills, validate business ideas, and scale ventures effectively. Participants gain hands-on experience through workshops, mentorship, advisory sessions, and exposure to industry best practices. What Participants Will Gain Enterprise Management Training Cohort members receive interactive training on the fundamentals of business management, including strategy, finance, operations, and marketing. The sessions are designed to provide practical knowledge and actionable insights that can be applied immediately to business operations. Business Incubation & Advisory Participants benefit from personalized advisory support to refine their business models, optimize operations, and scale their ventures. The programme also includes industry visits, providing first-hand exposure to successful enterprises and practical business environments. Funding Support Entrepreneurs selected for the programme may access up to €30,000 in funding to support prototype development, testing, and the initial stages of market entry. This financial backing enables participants to bring innovative ideas to life while minimizing risk. Mentorship & Networking The programme connects participants with experienced local and international entrepreneurs. Mentorship covers critical business challenges, growth strategies, and leadership development. Networking sessions enable participants to build valuable partnerships and gain exposure to diverse markets. Eligibility and Selection The programme is open to Nigerian youth aged 18–35 who demonstrate creativity, resilience, and a commitment to building impactful businesses. Selection prioritizes ventures with the potential to generate employment, promote economic development, and contribute positively to society.
