Peace Corps Uganda is recruiting qualified professionals for four contract-based positions under Vacancy Announcement No. 2026_001. In Uganda, the organization supports capacity building, education, health, agriculture, and community development through technical assistance and volunteer engagement. These contract positions provide an opportunity for experienced Ugandan professionals to contribute to volunteer training and programme operations while working with an internationally recognized development agency. Host Family Coordinator The Host Family Coordinator will support the identification, coordination, and management of host families participating in Peace Corps training activities. The role involves working closely with communities to ensure volunteers receive safe, supportive, and culturally enriching accommodation during training periods. Contract Details Contract Type: Intermittent Maximum Duration: 190 days per year Daily Pay: UGX 294,432–431,466 2. Language & Cross-Cultural Coordinator This position supports language instruction and cross-cultural training for Peace Corps Volunteers. The coordinator will contribute to developing volunteers’ communication skills while facilitating cultural orientation and community integration. Contract Details Contract Type: Intermittent Maximum Duration: 190 days per year Daily Pay: UGX 294,432–431,466 3. Driver (Three Positions) Peace Corps Uganda is recruiting three drivers to provide safe and reliable transportation for staff, volunteers, and training activities. The position requires professionalism, adherence to safety standards, and familiarity with field travel. Contract Details Number of Vacancies: 3 Contract Type: Intermittent Maximum Duration: 190 days per year Daily Pay: UGX 135,757–198,019 4. Training Secretary/Logistician The Training Secretary/Logistician will provide administrative and logistical support for Peace Corps training programmes. Responsibilities include coordinating documentation, managing logistics, supporting training events, and ensuring efficient programme operations. Contract Details Contract Type: Short-Term Maximum Duration: 190 days per year Daily Pay: UGX 211,456–309,497 Who Should Apply?
