RAHAMA Recruitment: State Focal Person (Borno State & FCT Abuja) Organization: RAHAMA Position: State Focal Person Locations: Borno State & FCT Abuja, Nigeria Role Duration: 12 Months (1 Year, with option for renewal) Reporting To: Procurement Lead (or designated supervisor) Application Deadline: September 28, 2026 About the Role RAHAMA is recruiting qualified and experienced individuals to serve as State Focal Persons in Borno State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. The Focal Person will act as the primary liaison for RAHAMA, driving local stakeholder engagement, government relations, community risk monitoring, and partnership development. Key Responsibilities Representation & Liaison: Serve as the official representative for RAHAMA at state and national forums; build strategic partnerships with government agencies, traditional/religious leaders, and civil society organizations. Stakeholder Mapping: Develop, maintain, and update the official State Stakeholder Map and Stakeholder Engagement Log. Opportunity & Risk Monitoring: Track policy, funding, and programming trends; provide early warnings regarding community-level risks, sensitivities, and reputational concerns. Activity & Logistics Support: Coordinate logistics and planning for RAHAMA visits, workshops, and field activities within the assigned region. Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly engagement reports documenting government interactions and strategic opportunities. Initial 30-Day Deliverables Within the first month of engagement, the State Focal Person will be required to submit: An Inception Note outlining the proposed stakeholder engagement approach. A State Stakeholder Map covering government, traditional, religious, and non-governmental entities. An Initial Stakeholder Engagement Log. A brief on the local policy, funding, and programming landscape. Eligibility & Requirements Residence: Must be currently based/resident in Borno State or FCT Abuja with strong local network leverage. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or HND with equivalent extensive experience). A Master’s degree is an added advantage. Experience: Background in community engagement, civil society advocacy, public relations, or government liaison. Skills: High credibility with local community structures, fluency in the local language, working proficiency in English, and strong networking abilities.
