The flexible internship offers hands-on experience managing real campaigns across Relief Applications and OuiRace, two mission-driven organisations working in humanitarian innovation and charity fundraising. The position provides genuine ownership of communication channels, exposure to international NGO networks, and the opportunity to contribute to impactful social impact campaigns while working entirely remotely. About the Internship The Communications & Marketing Intern will split their time between two organisations each week, gaining diverse experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, newsletters, event communications, and humanitarian storytelling. The internship is designed for individuals who want to build practical communication skills while supporting organisations working in humanitarian technology, international development, and charity initiatives. The role is part-time, fully remote, flexible, and paid, making it suitable for students balancing academic commitments or recent graduates seeking meaningful professional experience. Key Responsibilities The successful intern will support communications activities across OuiRace for approximately two days per week and Relief Applications for one day per week. For OuiRace, responsibilities include planning and scheduling content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, creating branded visuals using Canva and CapCut, preparing newsletters through Mailchimp, supporting charity campaigns, engaging with online communities, monitoring social media performance, and maintaining organised digital asset libraries. For Relief Applications, the intern will draft and edit website content, blog articles, newsletters, and LinkedIn posts while creating promotional graphics, presentations, and communication materials. Additional responsibilities include supporting webinars and workshops, managing registration and follow-up communications, maintaining media libraries, and researching communication trends related to humanitarian innovation and technology for good. Eligibility Requirements Applicants should be currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in one of the following or a related discipline: Communications Marketing Journalism International Relations Media Studies Graphic Design Candidates should demonstrate excellent written English and the ability to adapt writing styles across social media, websites, newsletters, and professional communications. The organisation is looking for individuals who are organised, self-motivated, reliable, and capable of managing priorities independently within a remote work environment. Desired Skills Strong applicants will have experience with: Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok Canva, Figma, or similar design platforms AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Manus for content creation, editing, and research Digital content planning and scheduling Additional skills that are considered advantageous include: Mailchimp or another email marketing platform WordPress website editing Basic social media analytics and KPI interpretation French and/or Spanish language proficiency Benefits of the Internship The internship offers considerably more than traditional administrative experience.
