The role focuses on safe, reliable, and efficient production operations, equipment troubleshooting, production monitoring, and first-line preventive/corrective maintenance. Key Responsibilities Facility & Well Operations: Safely operate oil and gas processing facilities, wells, control room systems, and auxiliary equipment in strict accordance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective first-line maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation assets; diagnose process faults to minimize operational downtime. Equipment Isolation & Testing: Perform equipment isolation, depressurization, servicing, calibration, functional testing, and reinstatement. Data & Production Monitoring: Measure, validate, and record daily production volumes; collect fluid samples for analysis and maintain accurate integrity records. Process Risk Management: Identify equipment vulnerabilities, respond effectively to facility upsets, participate in Task Risk Assessments (TRA), and strictly enforce Permit-to-Work (PTW) protocols. Eligibility & Qualifications Education: Ordinary National Diploma (OND/ND), Full Technological Certificate, Advanced Technical Diploma, or equivalent trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Electronics, Sciences, or related technical disciplines. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in technical maintenance, field operations, or control room operations within energy, oil and gas, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments. Technical Competencies: Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, operating manuals, and work packs. Demonstrated understanding of safe isolation practices, Permit-to-Work systems, and root-cause failure analysis. Frontline safety audit capability (Unsafe Act / Unsafe Condition reporting). Work Schedule Readiness: Full availability and physical fitness to work a 21-day rotational cycle in onshore, swamp, or offshore field locations.
