PEBEC coordinates reforms across various ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) to make the Nigerian business environment more competitive, transparent, and efficient for local and international investors. You will be responsible for tracking reform progress, analysing regulatory bottlenecks, and synthesizing complex data into actionable policy briefs for high-level government decision-makers. Key Responsibilities Policy Research: Conduct high-quality academic and field research into regulatory frameworks and governance models. Data Analytics: Collect and analyse data to track progress across key business environment indicators (e.g., starting a business, getting electricity, cross-border trade). Technical Writing: Prepare concise policy briefs, memos, and presentations that translate research findings for stakeholders and reform partners. Educational Background: Degree in Economics, Public Policy, Statistics, Development Studies, Political Science, or a related field. Required Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software. Exceptional writing skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts. High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
