Role Overview: Safety and Security Coordinator The Safety and Security Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering advisory and consultancy services to at-risk individuals and organizations. This includes working directly with grassroots movements, nonprofits, and foundations to assess risks and develop effective protection strategies. Key Responsibilities 1. Consultancy and Advisory Services (50%) The coordinator leads safety and security support on projects and rapid response cases. This includes mentoring consultants, providing technical oversight, and ensuring high-quality delivery of security solutions. 2. Business Development and Administration (25%) The role involves engaging with new clients, conducting introductory calls, and developing tailored proposals based on organizational needs. Administrative support for ongoing projects, including contracts and invoicing, is also required. 3. Organizational Support (25%) The coordinator contributes to internal operations by supporting travel planning, policy development, and collaboration between programme and operational teams. The role also includes participating in learning and development initiatives. Required Qualifications and Experience Candidates must demonstrate strong expertise in security and humanitarian work.
