Eligibility and Required Experience Sightsavers is seeking an experienced communications professional who can demonstrate a strong track record of delivering communications strategies, plans and activities. Essential requirements include: Demonstrable experience delivering global communications strategies and campaigns. Project management experience and evidence of achieving results. Experience in the international development or humanitarian sector. Strong awareness of and commitment to social justice. Experience working on communications initiatives focused on inclusion. Experience designing and managing communications budgets. Strong understanding of inclusive and accessible communications. Experience managing a team. Experience working within a global team. Commitment to disability and gender inclusion. Excellent English communication skills. Fluency in at least one relevant local language: Swahili, Hausa, Bemba/Nyanja or Twi. Strong strategic thinking and adaptability. Ability to manage several projects and deadlines. Strong presentation and public speaking skills. Ability to delegate effectively and make decisions.
