Compliance Internship Based in Johannesburg Among the opportunities announced is the Compliance Internship, which will be hosted within SHRA’s Compliance and Regulatory (CAR) unit. The internship details include: Position: Compliance Officer Intern Reference Number: COM/2026/2027 Department: CAR Unit Reporting To: Compliance Manager Location: Johannesburg Duration: 24 months Monthly Stipend: R11,172.49 The programme does not require prior work experience, making it accessible to recent graduates entering the job market. Internship Focuses on Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement According to the announcement, interns selected for the programme will receive training and exposure in several key compliance areas. Eligibility Requirements for Applicants SHRA stated that applicants must meet the following academic and eligibility requirements: Required Qualifications Matric certificate A three-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in: Law Business Management Auditing Additional Requirements Computer literacy Strong attention to detail Good interpersonal and communication skills The organization added that a certificate in Compliance Management would be considered an advantage but is not mandatory. Programme Targets Unemployed South African Youth The internship programme is specifically aimed at unemployed graduates below the age of 35.
