Manager: Wastewater Treatment This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, operation, and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and public health standards. Key focus areas include: Management of wastewater treatment operations Compliance with environmental and water quality legislation Infrastructure planning, maintenance, and optimisation Leadership of technical and operational teams Manager: Transport Planning & Public Transport The Manager: Transport Planning & Public Transport is responsible for coordinating integrated transport planning and overseeing public transport systems to support safe, efficient, and accessible mobility within the municipality. Key focus areas include: Transport planning and policy implementation Public transport systems management Integration of land use and transport planning Stakeholder engagement with transport operators and authorities Internal Auditor The Internal Auditor plays a critical role in strengthening governance, risk management, and internal control systems across the Municipality. Key focus areas include: Conducting internal audits in line with legislative and regulatory frameworks Assessing financial, operational, and compliance risks Providing assurance and advisory services to management and Council Supporting transparency, accountability, and good governance Executive Secretary: Mayoral Support The Executive Secretary: Mayoral Support provides high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Office of the Mayor, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and operational efficiency.
