SustyVibes is inviting applications for four exciting internship opportunities designed for young professionals passionate about sustainability, climate action, youth development, and social impact. The youth-led organisation is seeking motivated individuals to join its growing team and contribute to initiatives shaping the future of sustainability in Africa and beyond. The available roles include opportunities in operations, programme delivery, grant and fundraising support, and climate change and mental health programming through The Eco-Anxiety Africa Project (TEAP). Successful interns will gain practical experience while working with one of Africa’s leading youth sustainability movements. About SustyVibes SustyVibes (Sustainability Vibes) is a youth-led organisation focused on making sustainability relatable, accessible, and actionable for young people. Available SustyVibes Internship Opportunities 1. Operations and Executive Support Intern Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Hybrid)Role Type: Full-time InternshipCompensation: Monthly stipend SustyVibes is seeking an organised and proactive intern to support internal operations, executive coordination, and organisational systems. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with the organisation’s leadership team while developing skills in administration, project coordination, and operational management. Key Responsibilities The Operations and Executive Support Intern will: Provide administrative and operational support across internal systems. Support the Executive Director with scheduling, coordination, and documentation. Coordinate meetings, communications, and team activities. Assist with reporting, data management, and organisational records. Support management of the SustyVibes co-working space, Zen by SustyVibes. Track organisational priorities and deliverables. Assist with stakeholder communication. Contribute to improving internal processes and workflows. Provide support across different programmes and initiatives. Ideal Candidate Profile Applicants should have: Strong organisational and time-management skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to use digital collaboration tools. Professional judgement and confidentiality. Interest in sustainability, youth development, or social impact. 2. Programme Delivery Intern Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Remote)Available Positions: 2 Internship RolesCompensation: Monthly stipend This opportunity is designed for individuals passionate about youth empowerment, sustainability, and programme implementation. The intern will support the delivery of campaigns, events, and initiatives aimed at advancing climate action and youth engagement. Key Responsibilities The Programme Delivery Intern will: Support planning and implementation of programmes and campaigns. Coordinate events, activities, and stakeholder engagement. Assist with programme monitoring and reporting. Support communications and storytelling activities. Document programme outcomes and impact. Requirements Applicants should demonstrate: Passion for sustainability and youth mobilisation. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Willingness to learn and develop within the social impact sector. Recent graduate or final-year student status is preferred. 3. Grant and Fundraising Intern Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Remote)Role Type: InternshipCompensation: Monthly stipend The Grant and Fundraising Intern will support efforts to secure resources that enable youth-led climate action initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in fundraising, donor engagement, research, and project development. Key Responsibilities The intern will: Research grant and funding opportunities. Support proposal writing and concept note development. Assist with project design processes. Maintain grant and donor databases. Support donor communication and partnership activities. Required Skills and Experience Applicants should have: Interest in sustainability and youth development. Strong research and writing abilities. Interest in fundraising and project development. Good organisational skills. Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office. 4. Project Support Intern – The Eco-Anxiety Africa Project (TEAP) Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Remote)Role Type: InternshipCompensation: Monthly stipend The Eco-Anxiety Africa Project (TEAP) is seeking a Programme Delivery Intern to support one of Africa’s emerging initiatives connecting climate change and mental health. This role is ideal for someone passionate about climate action, research, community engagement, and supporting meaningful programmes. Key Responsibilities The Project Support Intern will: Support planning and delivery of TEAP initiatives. Assist with participant engagement and follow-up. Support research activities, including data collection and analysis. Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities. Develop programme resources, reports, and materials. Track project timelines and deliverables. Support programme coordination activities. Ideal Candidate Profile Applicants should have: Strong interest in climate change and mental health. Interest or experience in research and data analysis. Excellent organisational skills. Strong writing and documentation abilities. Ability to collaborate within a youth-led organisation.
