Program Lead for the AI Ventures Accelerator Technovation, a global nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls and young women in technology and entrepreneurship, is currently hiring an AI Ventures Accelerator (AIVA) Program Lead. This is a remote, global contract role running from March to August 2026, offering a unique opportunity to support the next generation of women leaders in AI and innovation. About Technovation Technovation is widely recognized for its mission to equip young women with the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to thrive in technology-driven fields. Through global partnerships, including collaborations with The AI Forward Alliance, the organization is working to increase female representation in STEM and artificial intelligence (AI) leadership roles. By fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, Technovation aims to create a more inclusive and equitable future in tech. About the AI Ventures Accelerator (AIVA) The AI Ventures Accelerator (AIVA) is a 12-week global program developed in partnership with UNICEF Generation Unlimited (GenU). It supports young women entrepreneurs aged 19–25 in building AI-powered ventures that address real-world social challenges. The program brings together participants from countries including the United States, India, Nigeria, and Mexico, creating a diverse and collaborative learning environment. Participants receive training in: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) Entrepreneurship and business development Leadership and innovation The program culminates in a Demo Day, where: The top 10 teams receive $10,000 in equity-free seed funding An additional 15 teams gain access to further incubation support Role Overview: Program Lead The AIVA Program Lead will report directly to Technovation’s program leadership and take full ownership of day-to-day program operations. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited for someone who thrives in managing complex, global initiatives. With participants already enrolled and mentors matched, the Program Lead will focus on ensuring smooth execution leading up to Demo Day. The role requires a 35–40 hour weekly commitment and strong coordination across multiple stakeholders, including participants, mentors, judges, and partners. Key Responsibilities Participant Management & Communications (30%) The Program Lead will act as the primary point of contact for participants across global cohorts. Responsibilities include: Monitoring team progress and engagement Following up with at-risk teams Maintaining participant tracking systems Sending regular updates and communications Mentor Coordination (20%) This includes: Managing mentor onboarding and matching Tracking mentor engagement Scheduling mentoring sessions and workshops Curriculum & Platform Management (20%) The role involves overseeing digital learning platforms such as LearnDash and F6S, including: Managing participant enrollment and access Monitoring course completion and risks Coordinating updates with curriculum teams Deliverables & Judging Process (20%) The Program Lead will: Collect venture deliverables (pitch decks, problem statements, etc.) Track submissions and ensure deadlines are met Coordinate the full judging process and support finalist selection Demo Day Coordination (10%) Key responsibilities include: Supporting event planning and logistics Coordinating with judges, sponsors, and VIPs Preparing documentation and assisting with seed funding distribution Program Timeline The Program Lead will manage the final stages of the accelerator: March – June: Learning and venture-building phase Late June: Submission of venture deliverables July: Judging period August: Finalists announced and Demo Day execution Salary and Contract Details US-based candidates: $6,000 – $8,000 per month International candidates: Compensation varies based on location and experience Duration: 4–5 months (contract role) Benefits: Not included Ideal Candidate Profile Technovation is seeking a highly proactive and self-directed professional with strong operational and communication skills. Ideal candidates should have: Experience with startup accelerators (as a participant or facilitator) A background in program management, operations, or education/nonprofit sectors Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects Strong written communication skills Experience with digital tools such as Google Sheets, LearnDash, or F6S (preferred) Comfort working across multiple time zones A passion for gender equity, entrepreneurship, and AI education is highly valued.
