Global Youth Ambassador Programme: Call for Applications The Global Youth Ambassador Programme, led by Theirworld, is now open for applications and invites young people worldwide to join a collaborative, mission-driven community committed to transforming education systems. This initiative brings together a diverse network of 2,000 young leaders from more than 120 countries who work collectively to champion equitable access to quality education and to advocate for the rights and opportunities of children and youth everywhere. This programme is designed for individuals who are passionate about driving social change, strengthening youth participation in global development, and contributing to long-term improvements in education policy, financing, and delivery. Ambassadors become part of a global movement that amplifies youth voices, equips young advocates with knowledge and skills, and enables them to support campaigns that push for meaningful reform in education systems worldwide. Programme Overview The Global Youth Ambassador Programme is a one-year voluntary initiative that allows young changemakers to engage in a structured environment dedicated to empowerment, advocacy, and leadership development. Ambassadors connect with peers, participate in global campaigns, contribute to conversations about education challenges, and gain access to resources that strengthen their ability to influence decision-making at local, national, and international levels. The programme emphasizes youth-led action, collective learning, and inclusive collaboration. It supports ambassadors in identifying education challenges within their communities, exploring strategies for positive change, and advocating alongside international organizations, governments, and civil society partners for sustainable solutions. What Ambassadors Gain Ambassadors benefit from a wide range of opportunities that support both personal and professional growth. These include: Access to a global network of youth advocates working on education, skills development, equity, and social justice. Opportunities to publish stories, opinion pieces, and community experiences, amplifying local perspectives to an international audience. Regular updates on global education developments, policy priorities, funding challenges, and innovative solutions. Why This Programme Matters Millions of children and young people around the world continue to face barriers to education, including conflict, inequality, poverty, discrimination, lack of infrastructure, and limited access to digital tools. The Global Youth Ambassador Programme recognizes the importance of youth-led advocacy in addressing these challenges. Young leaders bring authenticity, urgency, creativity, and local insight to global debates, which helps influence policies and shift mindsets. Ambassadors become part of a platform that elevates youth perspectives on key issues such as early childhood education, digital literacy, inclusive education, refugee education, education financing, and future skills. Their contributions support broader global campaigns aimed at achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4: inclusive, equitable, high-quality education for all. How to Apply Applications are now open, and interested candidates should submit their materials through the official application portal. Applicants are encouraged to prepare a clear expression of interest that reflects their motivation, personal experiences, and commitment to education advocacy. Early application is advised to ensure timely consideration.
