Role Overview The People Systems & Operations Associate role is a strategic and high-impact position within the organisation. It sits at the intersection of people operations, systems design, data analytics, and organisational strategy. The role is designed for a professional who can build scalable systems, interpret workforce data, and translate insights into improved organisational performance and employee experience. Unlike traditional HR roles, this position is focused on designing infrastructure for growth, ensuring that people systems remain efficient, data-driven, and scalable as the organisation expands across multiple countries. Strategic Purpose of the Role The role exists to support rapid organisational growth while maintaining operational excellence. The Associate is expected to: Build scalable and automated people systems Improve operational efficiency across global teams Strengthen data-driven decision-making Enhance employee experience through system optimisation Support sustainable organisational growth Key Responsibilities The role is structured around five core functional areas: 1. Data, Analytics and Insights A central responsibility of the role is the development and management of a global people data ecosystem. This includes designing systems that support evidence-based decision-making across the organisation. Key responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining global people data frameworks covering hiring, retention, engagement, and performance Creating dashboards and automated reporting tools for leadership teams Translating workforce data into actionable insights and recommendations Conducting internal research such as engagement surveys and workforce modelling Measuring the impact and return on investment of learning and development programmes 2. Global Operational Efficiency The role focuses heavily on improving and streamlining people-related processes across multiple countries. The aim is to reduce inefficiencies and enhance scalability. Responsibilities include: Mapping and improving end-to-end HR and people processes Identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions Introducing automation to reduce manual administrative tasks Improving recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and compliance workflows Embedding continuous improvement practices into daily operations 3. Workforce Planning and Talent Systems The Associate supports organisational growth by ensuring effective workforce planning and talent management systems. Key tasks include: Supporting hiring forecasts and workforce modelling Monitoring recruitment pipelines and time-to-hire metrics Analysing quality-of-hire and performance outcomes Tracking learning and development impact Supporting structured career development frameworks 4. Cross-Functional and Global Collaboration This role requires close collaboration with leadership teams across different regions and departments. The focus is on alignment, consistency, and effective system adoption. Responsibilities include: Partnering with country leads and department heads on people systems strategy Providing technical support and training on system usage Supporting global standardisation of processes and tools Contributing to change management initiatives Acting as the organisation’s internal expert on people systems and analytics 5. Compliance and Risk Management Ensuring data integrity, compliance, and ethical handling of employee information is a key part of the role. Responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining data governance frameworks Ensuring compliance with global record-keeping standards Standardising documentation across country offices Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive employee data Supporting audit readiness and risk mitigation processes What Success Looks Like Success in this role is measured by the effectiveness and scalability of people systems across the organisation.
