Length: Approximately 20–22 pages per report Source materials: Concept notes, field documentation, and images Output: Draft reports based on a standardized template Final versions incorporating feedback and aligned for publication Deinstitutionalization Webinar Report (1 Report) This report summarizes a four-part webinar series conducted in 2021, focusing on practical approaches to deinstitutionalization. Status: Draft already available Requirement: Structural revision and editorial refinement Output: Revised draft for review Fully edited and polished final report Standard Report Components Each document produced by the Research Assistant must include the following elements where applicable: Table of contents List of abbreviations and acronyms Executive summary Introduction and background Key findings and highlights Conclusions and recommendations Annexes and references All outputs must adhere to consistent formatting, structure, and style guidelines as agreed with the Secretariat. Key qualifications include: Minimum of two years’ experience in disability rights, inclusion, or related documentation work Demonstrated ability to produce CRPD-aligned content through previous writing samples Strong drafting and editing skills, particularly for long-form reports Ability to synthesize complex and unstructured inputs into clear narratives Effective time management and responsiveness to feedback and deadlines Experience handling sensitive or internal information with professionalism and discretion Basic knowledge of referencing standards and fact-checking practices Preference will be given to persons with disabilities and individuals with experience in international disability advocacy movements.
