Position Overview The ICT Specialist – Data Engineering will serve as a senior technical resource within the Information and Communication Technology Section (ICTS) Data Team. Key Responsibilities The selected professional will provide technical leadership across enterprise data engineering initiatives and support the development of scalable and secure data infrastructure. Major responsibilities include: Designing and maintaining cloud-based data platforms and enterprise data architectures. Developing ETL and ELT workflows for integrating and transforming large datasets. Building scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake technologies. Supporting data governance, lineage tracking, metadata management, and quality assurance frameworks. Developing dimensional and semantic data models for analytics and reporting. Supporting Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and enterprise reporting solutions. Implementing DataOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes. Establishing monitoring, observability, and performance optimization mechanisms. Producing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and data dictionaries. Required Qualifications Candidates must meet the educational and professional experience requirements outlined by UNV. Education Applicants must possess: A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field with at least five years of relevant experience; or A Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of seven years of relevant professional experience. Professional Experience Applicants should demonstrate substantial experience in enterprise data engineering and analytics environments.
