The United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY) has officially opened applications for new member organisations to join its global network beginning in January 2027. The call is aimed at youth-led organisations working in peacebuilding, conflict transformation, youth participation, and social cohesion that are interested in collaborating with like-minded groups from around the world. Successful applicants will become part of an international community committed to strengthening youth leadership in building peaceful and inclusive societies. Applications are open until September 13, 2026. What Is the United Network of Young Peacebuilders? The United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY) is a global network of more than 140 youth-led organisations operating across over 80 countries. The network brings together organisations that share a common vision of a world free from violence, where young people are recognised as key actors in preventing conflict, promoting dialogue, and creating sustainable peace. Through international cooperation, knowledge sharing, advocacy, and capacity-building, UNOY supports youth organisations in strengthening their impact within local, national, and global peacebuilding efforts. Why Is UNOY Expanding Its Membership? As peacebuilding challenges continue to evolve across different regions of the world, UNOY is seeking to expand its network by welcoming new youth-led organisations that are actively contributing to conflict prevention, peace education, human rights, social justice, and community resilience. By bringing together diverse organisations with shared goals, the network aims to strengthen youth participation in peace processes and create greater opportunities for collaboration across borders. The new members will officially join the network in January 2027. Who Can Apply? Applications are open to youth-led peacebuilding organisations that share UNOY’s commitment to promoting peaceful societies and meaningful youth participation. Organisations working in areas such as: Peacebuilding and conflict transformation. Youth participation and leadership. Human rights and social justice. Community dialogue and reconciliation.
