Research Focus and Scope The research group will explore how large-scale interventions affect economies at both micro and macro levels. Primary research themes include: Macroeconomic impacts of cash transfer programs Social protection systems in developing economies General equilibrium analysis of policy interventions Development challenges in East Africa, particularly in Malawi, Rwanda, and Ethiopia The research integrates randomized controlled trials with structural economic modeling to generate comprehensive insights into policy effectiveness.
