Important location eligibility change Wellcome has announced that its location eligibility rules will change from 29 October 2026. Applications submitted on or before 28 October 2026 will be assessed under the current eligibility criteria. From 29 October 2026, lead applicants must be based at eligible administering organisations in the UK or eligible low- and middle-income countries in Africa, South Asia and South-East Asia.
