Wits Health Consortium (Pty) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of the Witwatersrand, is offering multiple Youth Employment Services (YES) opportunities for unemployed young South Africans through its Yes4Youth Programme for 2026/2027. The programme aims to support unemployed youth by providing opportunities for employment experience, income generation, skills development and personal development. A total of 23 positions are available across administrative, finance, human resources, grants, legal, procurement, risk and compliance, training, fleet and operational support functions. All positions are based in Gauteng, South Africa, and are offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis. The application deadline is 14 September 2026. Young South Africans who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to identify the vacancy that matches their qualifications and submit the required documents before the closing date. About the Wits Health Consortium YES Programme The Wits Health Consortium is hosting the Yes4Youth Programme for 2026/2027 as part of efforts aimed at helping unemployed young people gain valuable workplace exposure. The programme is intended to transform the lives of unemployed youth by enabling them to access new employment opportunities while developing important professional and personal skills. For young graduates and school leavers who meet the requirements, the programme can provide an opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional working environment over a 12-month period. Participants will be placed in different functional areas depending on the position for which they are selected. 23 Positions Available The Wits Health Consortium is recruiting for the following positions: Risk and Compliance Administrator – 2 Positions Reference: YES001 Two opportunities are available in risk and compliance. The desirable qualifications differ between the available positions: One position requires a Degree in Risk Management or a related field. One position requires a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology. Finance Administrator – 5 Positions Reference: YES002 Five Finance Administrator positions are available. Applicants should preferably hold a: Diploma in Accounting or Finance, or Degree in Accounting or Finance. Training Administrator – 1 Position Reference: YES003 One Training Administrator opportunity is available. Desirable qualifications include a: Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management. Diploma or Degree in Instructional Design. Qualification in a related field. Grant Administrator – 5 Positions Reference: YES004 Five Grant Administrator positions are available. Applicants should preferably have a: Diploma in Accounting or Finance, or Degree in Accounting or Finance. HR Administrator – 4 Positions Reference: YES005 Four positions are available for HR Administrators. Applicants should preferably hold a: Diploma in Human Resource Management, or Degree in Human Resource Management. Legal Office Administrator – 1 Position Reference: YES006 One opportunity is available for a Legal Office Administrator. Applicants should preferably hold a: Diploma in Law or a related qualification, or Degree in Law or a related field. Procurement Administrator – 1 Position Reference: YES007 One Procurement Administrator position is available. The desirable qualification is a: Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management. Diploma or Degree in Procurement. Fleet Administrator – 1 Position Reference: YES008 One position is available for a Fleet Administrator. Applicants should preferably have a: Higher Certificate in Fleet Management or a related field, or Diploma in Fleet Management or a related discipline. Maintenance Assistant – 1 Position Reference: YES009 One Maintenance Assistant opportunity is available. The desirable education requirement is: Grade 12. A trade qualification will be considered advantageous. Office Assistant – 2 Positions Reference: YES010 Two Office Assistant positions are available. The desirable education requirement is: Grade 12. Who Can Apply? Applicants must meet the programme’s minimum eligibility requirements. Candidates must: Be Black South Africans as defined by the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) Act. Be African, Coloured or Indian and hold South African citizenship, as specified in the advertisement. Be between 18 and 29 years old. Be currently unemployed. Not have previously participated in a YES Programme with another organization. Demonstrate a positive attitude. Show a willingness to learn. Demonstrate commitment to the YES Programme.
