Women’s Fund Asia (WFA) is inviting applications for a Learning Coordinator Consultant to support grants under the CARA – Climate Action for a Resilient Asia Programme. This is a six-month consultancy engagement offering a unique opportunity to contribute to feminist, locally led climate action while strengthening learning and knowledge systems across Asia. The consultancy is ideal for experienced professionals who are passionate about climate justice, women’s leadership, and participatory learning, and who are motivated to amplify grassroots solutions to climate resilience. About Women’s Fund Asia (WFA) Women’s Fund Asia is a regional feminist fund that supports women’s rights groups, movements, and initiatives across Asia. WFA works to advance gender equality, social justice, and feminist leadership, with a strong emphasis on supporting women from marginalized, minority, and vulnerable communities. Through grant-making, capacity strengthening, and movement-building, WFA partners with local actors to drive sustainable, community-centered change. About the CARA Programme: Climate Action for a Resilient Asia The CARA Programme focuses on strengthening locally led climate action by supporting initiatives that address climate resilience through a gender-responsive and rights-based lens. A core pillar of CARA is the recognition that women—particularly those at the frontline of climate impacts—are leaders, innovators, and change-makers in building resilient communities. The programme prioritizes: Feminist climate solutions rooted in local knowledge Women’s leadership in climate resilience and adaptation Learning and evidence that can influence policy, practice, and funding Purpose of the Learning Coordinator Consultancy WFA is seeking a Learning Coordinator Consultant to lead learning, documentation, and knowledge-building efforts across CARA-supported grants. The consultant will play a central role in capturing lessons, strengthening collective learning, and translating grassroots experiences into insights that can inform broader climate resilience strategies. This role offers a platform to shape regional learning narratives, elevate women-led climate solutions, and strengthen the visibility and impact of locally driven initiatives. Key Responsibilities The Learning Coordinator Consultant will be responsible for the following core areas: Learning and Knowledge Building Design and coordinate learning processes across CARA grants Facilitate reflective learning spaces for grantee partners Support cross-learning and peer exchange among initiatives Documentation and Storytelling Document grant-level and programme-level learning, outcomes, and challenges Capture case studies and stories highlighting women-led climate resilience efforts Ensure documentation reflects feminist values and locally grounded perspectives Synthesis and Knowledge Sharing Synthesize insights from multiple grants into clear, accessible learning outputs Contribute to reports, briefs, and other knowledge products Support dissemination of learning to internal and external audiences Collaboration and Coordination Work closely with WFA programme and grants teams Engage respectfully and effectively with grantee partners across diverse Asian contexts Who Should Apply? WFA is looking for candidates who bring both technical expertise and feminist values to their work.
