globalsouthopportunities.com

Application Deadline

November 11, 2026

Description

Looking for a senior nonprofit leadership opportunity you can do remotely from anywhere in the world? Take Action Global is hiring a Senior Development and Partnerships Lead to help secure funding, build international partnerships and support programmes reaching millions of students and teachers across more than 190 countries. The international nonprofit is seeking an experienced fundraising and partnerships professional who can identify funding opportunities, cultivate relationships with corporate and philanthropic partners, and mobilise resources to advance global education and climate action initiatives. The position is full-time, 100% remote and open to candidates worldwide. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and location. Applications are being reviewed on a rolling basis, making early submission advisable. About Take Action Global Take Action Global (TAG) is an international nonprofit working at the intersection of education, climate action and global collaboration. The organisation creates opportunities for educators and young people to learn, connect, develop ideas and take action on pressing global challenges. Its programmes bring together students, teachers, organisations and partners to support learning experiences that encourage meaningful action. Through its international network, TAG works across global climate education, professional learning, student innovation and cross-cultural collaboration. The Senior Development and Partnerships Lead will help strengthen the financial and institutional relationships that make this work possible. What Does the Senior Development and Partnerships Lead Do? The successful candidate will play a central role in growing TAG’s network of corporate, foundation and philanthropic partners. This is a senior, hands-on position suited to a professional who can combine strategic thinking with practical fundraising, outreach and relationship management. 1. Build Corporate Partnerships A major focus of the role will be developing relationships with companies interested in corporate social responsibility (CSR), corporate social impact, corporate foundations and sponsorship opportunities. The successful candidate will identify potential partners whose priorities align with TAG’s mission and develop opportunities for meaningful collaboration. 2. Identify Funding Opportunities The role involves identifying prospective corporate, foundation and philanthropic funders that could support TAG’s programmes and long-term growth. The candidate will be expected to understand funder priorities, identify shared objectives and build a pipeline of potential funding opportunities. 3. Develop Proposals and Partnership Concepts The successful applicant will prepare proposals, partnership concepts and other communications designed to demonstrate the value of investing in TAG’s work. Strong proposal development skills will be important for communicating the organisation’s impact and presenting compelling opportunities to prospective partners. 4. Manage Relationships with Funders The position includes cultivating new relationships while strengthening existing partnerships. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership and programme teams to ensure that partnership opportunities align with organisational priorities and programme needs. 5. Engage Senior Decision-Makers The organisation is looking for someone confident in initiating conversations, building professional networks and engaging senior leaders across companies, foundations and philanthropic organisations. An entrepreneurial mindset, initiative and consistent follow-through will be important in moving discussions from initial contact to meaningful investment. Who Can Apply? The position is designed for experienced fundraising, development and partnership professionals with a track record of building relationships and securing resources. The ideal candidate should demonstrate: Significant experience in fundraising, development, corporate partnerships or philanthropy. A proven record of building relationships and securing funding. Experience with CSR, corporate foundations, corporate social impact or related partnerships. Strong networks in corporate philanthropy, education, sustainability or social impact. Excellent communication, proposal-writing and relationship-building skills. Confidence engaging senior decision-makers and initiating new partnerships. A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and strong organisational follow-through. Experience working with global organisations, international education initiatives or climate-focused programmes will be an advantage. Candidates should be able to demonstrate how their previous work has contributed to successful fundraising, partnership development or resource mobilisation. Experience with US and EU Funding Is Relevant The application specifically invites candidates to highlight experience across corporate partnerships, CSR, US and EU funding, foundations, philanthropy and global organisations. Applicants with relevant experience in these areas should explain their responsibilities, the types of partnerships they have developed and the funding or other results they have helped secure. Where possible, candidates should use concrete examples to demonstrate their impact, such as successful proposals, partnerships established, funding mobilised or donor relationships strengthened. Is the Job Fully Remote? Yes. Take Action Global describes the position as 100% remote and open to candidates worldwide. This makes the vacancy particularly relevant to experienced professionals seeking international nonprofit careers without relocating to a specific office location. However, compensation is determined according to experience and location. Applicants should clarify any employment, time-zone or other practical arrangements with the organisation during the recruitment process. Salary and Benefits Take Action Global states that compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience and location. The vacancy announcement does not specify an exact salary range or provide a detailed benefits package. Candidates should consult the application form or contact the organisation for further information where necessary. Required Application Documents Applicants are asked to submit two key documents: 1. Resume The resume should outline relevant professional experience, fundraising achievements, partnership development responsibilities and other qualifications related to the role. 2. Brief Letter of Interest The letter should highlight the applicant’s relevant fundraising and partnership experience, particularly in areas such as corporate partnerships, CSR, US and EU funding, foundations, philanthropy and global organisations. Candidates should tailor their applications to demonstrate how their experience matches TAG’s partnership-building and resource mobilisation priorities. How to Apply Interested candidates should submit their applications through the official Take Action Global recruitment form. Apply for the Senior Development and Partnerships Lead position Applicants should prepare their resume and a brief letter of interest before completing the form. Ensure that the application clearly demonstrates relevant fundraising experience, relationship-building skills and the ability to develop partnerships that support an international nonprofit’s mission. Application Deadline Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. The organisation has not specified a fixed closing date in the supplied vacancy announcement. Candidates are therefore encouraged to apply as early as possible, as applications may be reviewed as they are received. Why Consider This Opportunity? The role offers experienced fundraising professionals an opportunity to contribute to international education and climate action while building partnerships with companies, foundations and philanthropic organisations. For candidates who enjoy developing funding strategies, cultivating influential relationships and translating shared priorities into practical investment, the position could be a strong fit.
