Available Roles 1. Research Assistants (RA) Research Assistants support the full lifecycle of impact evaluations, focusing on data and analysis. Responsibilities include: Cleaning and managing large datasets Writing reproducible code (Stata, R, Python) Conducting statistical and econometric analysis Supporting survey design and data collection Contributing to research papers, policy briefs, and reports Managing databases and integrating multiple data sources These roles may be remote or based in Washington, DC, depending on project needs. 2. Field Coordinators (FC) Field Coordinators oversee on-the-ground implementation of impact evaluations. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating with governments, stakeholders, and research teams Managing survey implementation and field staff Monitoring data quality and ensuring protocol compliance Supervising data collection and field operations Supporting training and capacity building Reporting on project progress FC roles are typically based in the country of project implementation. 3. Data Science & Architecture Analysts These roles focus on advanced data systems and analytics. Responsibilities include: Analysing large datasets and administrative data Designing and improving data pipelines Identifying integration and automation opportunities Developing dashboards and data tools Supporting data-driven decision-making These roles are often remote and require strong technical expertise in data systems.
