World Vision International offers dynamic internship opportunities designed for students and recent graduates in the United States who are seeking meaningful, career-building experience in international humanitarian, development, and advocacy work. The Summer 2026 cohort presents a three-month opportunity to gain practical exposure within one of the world’s largest child-focused humanitarian organizations. Learn Engage in challenging and purpose-driven assignments Develop technical and functional skills Gain hands-on experience in humanitarian and development operations Grow Participate in weekly cohort sessions Access networking workshops Receive career coaching and professional development support Connect Build professional relationships Collaborate with global teams Expand networks within the international development sector Possible Internship Departments Interns may be placed in a variety of functional and programmatic areas, including: Accounting, Finance, and Treasury Global Supply Chain Management Christian Education and Spiritual Formation Child Development and Rights Communications and Marketing Governance and Board Development Grants Acquisition and Management Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs Humanitarian Resource and Information Systems Program Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation Global Health, Food Security, and WASH Social Media and Graphic Design These departments provide cross-sector exposure to international relief, advocacy, and development programming. Location and Eligibility Internships are fully remote and available to eligible participants located in U.S. states where World Vision International is registered as an employer, including: Arizona California Colorado Connecticut District of Columbia Florida Georgia Illinois Maryland Minnesota Missouri New Jersey New York North Carolina Oregon Pennsylvania Tennessee Texas Virginia Washington Applicants must meet the following criteria: At least 18 years old Eligible to work in the United States (U.S. citizen/resident or F1-student visa) Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate (within two years) Able to commit to a minimum of 24 hours per week Willing to use personal electronic devices with endpoint security software installed Committed to adhering to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith Time Commitment and Structure Length: 13 weeks Schedule: Flexible, coordinated with supervisor and team Work Environment: Fully virtual Compensation: Monthly stipend to offset internship-related expenses Interns manage their weekly schedules in alignment with departmental requirements, enabling a balance between professional and academic commitments where applicable. Additional Global Internship Opportunities Beyond U.S.-based roles, internship opportunities may also be available through other offices within the World Vision Partnership worldwide.
